There is so much amazing dinosaur nursery decor out there that you really can’t go wrong with a dinosaur nursery theme. You can pretty much find anything in dinosaur theme.
Creating a nursery was one of my favorite parts of pregnancy and I picked my theme early so I could get the items on my registry and do my shower in the same theme.
Dinosaurs are not only a cute idea for a baby but also the theme can also be used for a toddler or even little boy’s room, which makes it more appealing.
So if you are looking for dinosaur nursery bedding such as crib sheets, baby blankets and changing pads, wall art such as printables, signs and pictures, and other nursery accessories such as lovies, mobiles and even dinosaur newborn outfits for a baby girl or a baby boy, then be sure to take a look at these awesome finds.
Dinosaur Nursery Bedding
When you start to shop for bedding, you want to decide if you want to buy a bedding set or just a crib sheet. Additionally, you can supplement with more dinosaur themed blankets such as swaddling blankets or receiving blankets. Another fun blanket to get baby is a dinosaur monthly milestone blanket.
Adorable Dinosaur Bedding Sets
Dinosaur bedding sets seem to come in either a blue, blue and green or a rainbow color scheme. This blue/gray dinosaur bedding set comes with one quilt, one fitted sheet and one dust ruffle. What I love about this one that you can buy a lot of other items in the same theme such as a dinosaur lamp, dinosaur wall decals and a dinosaur mobile.
Another similar design in blue is this bedding set that includes one quilt, two fitted crib sheets, one crib skirt, one wearable blanket, and wall decals. You can also grab a dinosaur lamp, dinosaur mobile and dinosaur stuffed animal in the same theme.
If you want to add a little more color, this set is a blue, green and grey color scheme. It has a cute pattern. You can also grab a lamp shade, curtains, printables, mobile, changing pad and laundry basket all in the same theme. If you like the theme but don’t want to buy the set, this designer also sells the crib sheet by itself.
Another cute bedding set in a blue and green color scheme. I really love the dinosaurs on the comforter and the saying from Peter Pan, “Little Boys should never be sent to bed, they always wake up a day older.”
A more colorful bedding set is this set that includes a quilt, rail guard, crib skirt, crib sheet and pillowcase. The rail guard can really help when your baby starts to teethe. I wish I had gotten one because we had lots of bite marks all over the top rail. You can also buy items individually and they also sell a matching diaper pad cover. I love how there is a lot of color, yet it doesn’t seem too busy.
The colors in this next dinosaur bedding sheet are so vivid. I love the dark blue with bright colored dinosaurs. I think what I really love about this is it could be used for a boy or a girl. The set includes a toddler pillowcase, crib sheet and baby blanket. The theme is popular and you can also buy other items such as a diaper changing pad to go along with your theme.
Similar to the other color dinosaur pattern with a white background, this cheerful set includes a crib sheet, pillow and blanket. My favorite part of this set is that you can buy all items individually or together. You can add on a rug, curtains, and wall art in the same theme.
This dinosaur bedding set is very colorful but more pastel. I think these dinosaurs are very gender neutral and could be a cute theme. The detail on these dinosaurs is really incredible. The set comes with a crib sheet, minky blanket, changing pad cover and 6 dinosaur prints.
I included this set because it was my favorite dinosaur theme for a baby girl with a purple, pink and teal color scheme. The bedding set includes a toddler sheet, crib sheet, crib skirt and a baby blanket. You can also get a rail guard.
Dinosaur Crib Sheets
You can buy just the crib sheet for almost all of the bedding sets listed above. Additionally, here are some really fun dinosaur crib sheets to consider.
I love this one because I think the dinosaurs are so cute and it is personalized with baby’s name. It comes in jersey and minky. You can also buy wall art with these same dinosaurs.
Another fun crib sheet is this one that would make a great background to take pictures of baby.
If you want one in green with a cute baby dinosaur on it, then this one is for you.
This crib sheet has a lot of fun colors and I love the words such as “I’m spikey, I’m big, I’m fast…”
For those of you looking for a dinosaur theme for a baby girl, this crib sheet is absolutely amazing. What more could you ask for than a princess dinosaur? I love the light pink and teal in this pattern.
Dinosaur Themed Baby Blankets
When I was shopping for my baby nursery, I got extra blankets because you really can not have enough baby blankets. Here are some of my favorites.
I just love these dinosaurs on this personalized blanket. This one has the same dinosaurs as the crib sheet above. You could grab this blanket with the matching crib sheet instead of a bedding set. The artwork that matches this set is in the next section.
Another great option for a personalized dinosaur baby blanket is this one that can be made in really any color of dinosaurs.
This blanket is in the same patter as the dark blue bedding set. It is a good option if you like the pattern but don’t want the full set. You could also just get it as an extra dinosaur blanket because it is such a cute baby blanket.
Another extra blanket that matches the bedding set from above. Look at how adorable it is with a baby.
This blanket is minky on one side and I love that because that fabric is so perfect for baby.
If you are looking for receiving blankets, then this is a great choice. The set has two dinosaur themed.
Another popular receiving or swaddling blanket is one that is made from muslin. This is by far my favorite dinosaur pattern muslin blanket.
Dinosaur Baby Monthly Milestone Blankets
One really fun thing to do with your baby is to take monthly pictures. You can get a blanket to help you take the photos and of course you will want a dinosaur one for your dinosaur themed nursery.
This one is really cute. I like the dinosaurs and the border of leaves.
This one is a lot less busy but still very cute and would make a great option.
Another option that has more colors.
Dinosaur Changing Pads
Most bedding sets have a corresponding bedding set like this one. It matches the blue and green dinosaur bedding set above.
If the crib sheet or bedding set doesn’t have a matching changing pad cover, then consider just getting a solid color that would match. For example, this changing pad cover would go well with any blue dinosaur theme.

Dinosaur Nursery Wall Art Ideas
After seeing how many great pintables, pictures and decals there are in dinosaur theme, I would have been sold on the idea of it for a nursery.
I like how colorful this set is. I also love the messages on the dinosaurs such as “dream big, be honest, be kind and be brave.”
Another option that has colorful dinosaur with beautiful messages. I like how the dinosaurs in these are baby dinosaurs. I also like the cursive writing.
This set of three pictures is still not too busy but has some scenery such as dinosaur eggs, trees and a volcano.
I had to include this set because it has to cutest dinosaur on it and says, “Roar means I love you in dinosaur.”
This set matches a crib sheet and a baby blanket from early sections. I really like how friendly these dinosaurs look.
Another piece of artwork by the same artist but this one can be personalized with the name.
Here is another option for wall art with colorful dinosaurs and baby’s name.
If you want something more unique, then consider this awesome and educational ABC dinosaurs.
It also comes as a wall decal if that works better for you. It is pretty awesome you can do the whole alphabet with dinosaurs.
Another unique piece of artwork is this map of dinosaurs.
Instead of getting dinosaur with cute sayings, another option is this set that says the names of the dinosaurs. It also matches the green and blue crib bedding set which also comes in twin bed size. This theme could last you a very long time.
These pictures also match the same bedding set. I love the “be fierce, be brave be strong and dream big little one”.
Another amazing dinosaur saying is “ always be yourself, unless you can be a dinosaur, then always be a dinosaur.”
I had to include this one because I like the phrase “Let the world hear you roar.”
If you decided to go with a blue dinosaur theme, these pictures would be a great addition to your nursery.
You can also grab some wall decals in the same color scheme.
And for those of you looking for items for a girl dinosaur nursery, nothing beats dinosaurs with flower crowns.
These prints have some awesome messages and could also work well for a girl with the purple and teal colors. They say “don’t forget to be rawrsome, rawr means I love you in dinosaur, be brave, be kind, be strong, and listen to your mamasaurus.”
Dinosaur Name Signs
When looking for wall art, it could be nice to include baby’s name if you have already decided on the name.
This one would go well with a blue and green color scheme.
If you just want to include baby’s first letter, then these pictures are fun and come in different colors.
If you want a wall decal, then you can do the letter and name with some dinosaurs.
You can also consider buying an actual sign, this one is very detailed.
For a simpler design, this one is a single dinosaur with the name. It comes in many different colors and dinosaurs.
I like this one for a blue dinosaur nursery theme.
While this isn’t really baby, I had to include it for Jurassic Park fans.
Dinosaur Wall Decals
If you want to really decorate your walls in a dinosaur theme, then consider wall decals.
This set comes with 6 dinosaurs that you could around the room. Once baby is a toddler, these would be so much fun for them.
This is a similar set with 8 dinosaurs in a different color scheme. I love the baby dino.
If you want a set that would make a scene on a wall, then this one with trees and very large dinosaurs could work.
Another idea for wall decals is to get small decals and place them on shelfs, near the baseboard, or even on the crib. I like the yellow in this set.
If you want to decorate a wall with a ton of dinosaurs, then this set is for you. It comes with 40 pieces and you get to pick all the colors. For example, these colors would be great for a baby girl. You can also do all blue, blue and green or rainbow.
The last decal I included was this one because I just love the phrase. It says “To go to sleep I count dinosaurs not sheep.”
Dinosaur Growth Chart Ideas
When finding decoration for your baby’s nursery, grab a growth chart. It will not only be fun to document their growth, but also a great keepsake.
I like this one because as you grow you get to be a different dinosaur.

There are a lot of items you can get in a dinosaur theme for your baby’s nursery outside of the bedding and wall art.
Dinosaur Nursery Lamps/Night Lights
A night light or lamp is a must in the nursery for nighttime wake ups. You don’t want to be turning on the main light every time.
I love this dinosaur lamp that matches the blue bedding set.
If you like the blue and green bedding set, then this lamp shade matches.
These are really nice to have and will be a big hit with your toddler as well. They are cover for the Hatch Baby Rest Sound Machine, Night light and Time-to Rise.
This night light is similar in that a toddler would really like it.
Dinosaur Nursery Mobiles
One thing I was so excited to shop for was the mobile.
This one from Etsy is cute and would work with a variety of dinosaur themes.
A similar one but contains more dinosaurs. I love the Pteranodon on the top.
This mobile would go well with the blue and grey dinosaur bedding sets.
Dinosaur Nursery Newborn Outfits
While newborn outfits aren’t exactly nursery decor, you will want to check these out because they are so cute. If you are going to go with a dinosaur theme, then you should at least grab one dinosaur outfit.
These swaddles are personalized and have a cute dinosaur pattern.
I would buy this just for newborn pictures because I seriously can not think of anything more amazing.
This is an awesome coming home outfit that says “hello I’m new here” with blue and teal dinosaurs.
Another fantastic dinosaur outfit that I would be getting in multiple baby sizes.
Lastly, a very cute and colorful dinosaur onesie for baby.
Dinosaur Nursery Stuffed Animals
To complete your dinosaur nursery, consider grabbing a dinosaur stuffed animal for baby.
This blue dinosaur would be perfect for any dinosaur nursery.
A popular item to get baby is a lovey. This T-rex lovey is a stuffy with a blanket and would be perfect for a dinosaur theme.
Another idea is to get a bunch of dinosaur stuffed animals that you can use for play or to decorate the nursery shelves.
If you want a dinosaur in teal, then this is an awesome choice. There are multiple dinosaurs to choose from and they are all cute and so soft.
Another baby item that you could get in dinosaur is a dinosaur pacifier. These are hugely popular because they give baby something to grab on.
This dinosaur is also a rattle and would make for a great first baby toy to add to a baby registry.
A dinosaur chair would make great dinosaur nursery decor but also be great for your toddler. You can also use it to take monthly photos in.
Dinosaur Themed Baby Books
It is never too early to start your baby’s library. Since dinosaurs are so popular with babies, you will have no problem finding some in your theme.
I really love this book, Never touch a dinosaur, because babies love to touch different surfaces.
Another great dinosaur baby book is Twinkle, Twinkle Dinosaur since babies love songs.
This dinosaur classic Dinosaur Dance is perfect for little ones.
For a book that is also a toy, check out this Dino Tails book. My baby loved to hold and chew these types of books.
While this isn’t a book you would read to baby, you could also get a baby’s book in your dinosaur nursery theme.

Dinosaur Baskets
Baskets are great for a nursery. You can use them for laundry or toys.
Here is a fun basket in blue that would work well for laundry.
Or you can grab the same basket in bold blue with rainbow dinosaurs.
This would be great for a shelf to hold toys or even baby items like diaper changing or nursing items.
Here is another basket but in a different pattern.
If you have a cube organizer, then you could grab cubes that are dinosaur themed. Cube organizers are so versatile that they make great nursery furniture since they can grow with the child.
Other Items for a Dinosaur Nursery Theme
Here are a few other items that you could use to continue your nursery theme.
You could buy a set of dinosaur to decorate shelves and eventually for play when your baby is much older.
You could grab a dinosaur first puzzle.
Lastly, you could grab some dinosaur bath toys.
Your Dinosaur Nursery
Dinsoaurs are a great choice when it comes to a nursery theme. As you can see, you can get so much dinosaur nursery decor. Additionally, the dinosaur patterns are so cute. I love all of the cute sayings and it’s never too early to start teaching your child about science.
