There are so many ways to add the woodland theme to your nursery starting with bedding. You can get a full bedding set or just a crib sheet. There are also so many cute cozy woodland baby blankets to consider. Lastly, stay in theme by grabbing a woodland monthly milestone blanket.
Bedding Sets for a Woodland Nursery
Here are my favorite woodland bedding sets. These are an easy way to achieve a nursery theme and you can usually buy other items like lamps, mobiles and wall decals in the same theme giving you a very cohesive look.
I love the white background and baby blue used in this set. I like how the animals look very realistic but still look cute. The set comes with a fitted sheet, crib skirt, diaper stacker and crib blanket. You can also get a lamp, changing pad cover, laundry basket, pillow, and a cozy baby blanket.
For one with more color, this cute green set is decorated in trees and adorable animals. I love this for a girl or a boy. It comes with a fitted sheet, quilt and crib skirt. While this next one has a lot of animals, they are all in neutral colors besides the fox. If you are looking for a woodland nursery for a boy that is fox themed, then this is it. I didn’t find any great options for a bear woodland nursery for a girl, but I did find a good owl one. I really like owls, so I had to include this other bedding set I found. Additionally, I just love the pink and teal look of these nurseries. This set has a quilt, two crib sheets, crib skirt, wearable blanket, and wall decals. I would also grab the mobile and lamp to complete the set along with the cute owl stuffed animal.
If you want a nursery in all neutral colors, this one would work. It comes with a quilt, two crib sheets, a crib skirt, and wall decals. You could also get the fuzzy bear blanket, mobile and stuffed animals.
I like this set a lot for those who are looking for a woodland nursery that could work for girl or boy. It is cute, colorful and comes with a lot. The set includes a quit, two crib sheets, one crib skirt, one pillow, one diaper stacker, one coral fleece blanket with applique and one changing pad cover. All you need now is some woodland artwork and you are set.
Here is a set that is perfect for a baby girl. I like this set because it has a lot of animals on it and really like grey and pink combo. It comes with a quilt, crib sheet, crib skirt and a wearable blanket. You can also add the mobile, stuffed animal fox and fuzzy fox blanket.
I included this set because I love the flannel look. The animals roasting marshmallows gives it such a camping feel. It comes with a quilt, crib sheets, one crib skirt, and one diaper stacker. I saw so many cute woodland printables of animals with flowers that I wanted to include a floral bedding set. This by far was my favorite floral woodland nursery bedding set. The one pictured is deer themed but you can also get it with bunnies instead. It comes with a quilt, front rail guard, crib sheet, crib skirt, and diaper stacker. You can also get a changing pad cover in the same design.
Woodland themed Crib Sheets
Since you can get just the crib sheet in almost any of the designs that I featured in the bedding sets, I am going to skip them here. Instead, I will focus on other woodland themed crib sheets.
This one is so cute for baby pictures with the trees, moose and the wording “adventure awaits.”
Another one that I could see as a great background for pictures or just a great crib sheet for a woodland nursery is this one that says “wild and free.” I love the flannel look and you can get it blue, green or pink.
If you want a pattern that is different from the ones in the bedding set, this is a cute one for a baby girl.
This is another set of cute crib sheets. I love the trees on these. You can also get this same design as a changing pad cover.
If you aren’t wanting to go with pink, then consider this crib sheet for a girl. I love the sleeping animals on it.
I love the message on this “Have courage and be kind.”
If you want something that is gender neutral and could really go with anything woodland nursery decor, then this is what you want.
Baby Blankets
No matter what you decide for a bedding set or just a crib sheet, you can never have enough baby blankets. Here are my favorite ones for a woodland nursery.
This one is simple with just a fox and could go with so many different bedding sets.
This one is perfect for a baby boy and is a great blanket to swaddle in.
I like this one because I love mink fabric. It is so cozy and warm.
Another fox blanket that doesn’t go with one of the bedding sets but is perfect for a baby girl no matter what bedding set you pick.
If you want a simpler one, then this fox blanket is cute.
Continuing with the pink theme, I love this personalized deer and floral blanket.
You can also grab a set of receiving blankets in a woodland theme.
Woodland Monthly Baby Blankets
I love the idea of taking pictures of baby each month on a blanket. It is even more fun if you can find one that matches your theme. Here are my favorite ones.
This one is perfect for any baby bear.
If you want one is more girl, this cute one says “dream big.”
I also just love this one and how all of the animals are looking at where baby would be.
Changing Pads Covers for a Woodland Nursery
Finding a changing pad cover can be tricky because most nursery bedding sets do not include one. It can be hard to find one that matches your theme.
One option is to pick a solid color that matches your bedding set or crib sheet. I love this set because it is made in mink fabric. You can get it in a variety of color choices.
Since so many woodland nurseries have foxes, I just had to include this one.
If you want one that matches a bear theme, then this would be a good choice.
If you want one for a baby girl that has a design that could go with a lot of different décor options, then consider this set with arrows.
This set of arrow-patterned changing pad covers would work for a baby boy and really go with any bedding set.
This set of changing pad covers is a good choice for a gender neutral nursery with the yellow and blue.
I also like this set since it could go with a lot of different decor. It also can come in a crib sheet.
I think stars and constellations would really work with a woodland nursery especially with the bedding set that includes stars in it.
Lastly, another changing pad cover that could go with a variety of color themes.
Woodland Nursery Wall Art, Pictures, and Wall Decals
Once you have an idea of what you want to do with the crib bedding, it’s time to pick out some wall decor. You can get printables, pictures, wall decals and growth charts in your theme. Here is my favorite wall decor for a woodland nursery.
To start, I had to include these awesome animals with flowers that make it perfect for a baby girl.
Here is another floral animal picture set.
If you like the animal collage but want it without the flowers, then this is a cute set.
Here is another great choice for a little boy. It would work for a fox focused theme.
I also really like this set because it has little messages such as “be clever, be happy, be kind, be curious, be brave and be wise.” They also really match the animal such as the owl says “be wise” and the bear says “be brave”.
Here is the same idea but slightly different.
This is by the same Etsy artist and a different variation with the same animals and trees.
If you want a bunch of animals but don’t want to do the animal pictures, then check out wall decals. Here is an awesome one with trees and animals.
I love this one with the squirrel in the swing.
Another great option. You could put this all on one wall or scatter them around the room.
And remember most of the bedding sets had their own wall decals that go with the theme such as this one.
A cute idea is to include a woodland themed alphabet like in this picture.
While this could go with a lot of themes, I really like the “born to be wild” sign with a woodland theme.
Growth Charts
I love the idea of doing a growth chart. While you could do it on the wall, these allow you to keep the growth chart as a keepsake. Here are some cute ones that would go with a woodland nursery.
This one is perfect for a baby girl with the floral theme.
This one would work for a boy or a girl. I love the bright colors used.
Another choice that would work well with a lot of the bedding sets and crib sheet designs is this one.
Nursery Accessories
While you could just get a bedding set and some wall decor to complete your woodland theme, here are some other accessories that could be a lot of fun in a nursery.
My absolute favorite accessory for a woodland nursery would be a teepee. It would be such an awesome addition and as your baby grows it would be a fun fort and a cozy place to read books.
Another idea that I saw was to get a fake tree or tree branch and add little felt woodland ornaments to it.
This set includes 20 felt woodland animals.
Lastly, you could add a toddler chair. It is fun to take monthly pictures of baby in and your toddler will love reading and sitting in it. This one is a fox.

Woodland Lamps, Night Lights, and Noise Machines
A night light and/or lamp is a must since you don’t want to be turning the main light on during night wakes, so you might as well grab one that matches your adorable woodland theme.
My favorite lamps are ones that have a woodland animal. This one is a fox lamp and could go with any fox themed woodland nursery.
This bear one goes with the bear bedding set but could also go with any woodland nursery that is bear themed or even blue themed.
For a cute lamp that would work with a girl nursery, I love this pink racoon one. While I didn’t include it, the same company makes pink lamps with an owl or a fox on it.
I like this woodland nightlight for a woodland nursery.
Another great option is this fox nightlight that you could add to really any woodland theme.
A noise machine is really useful to help baby sleep so why not grab an owl one.
Mobiles for a Woodland Nursery
Another great nursery accessory is a mobile. I really like the ones that play music.
This one would go well with a bedding set or wall decor that has foxes and racoons.
Another fox and raccoon mobile with some blue and a little more decor on it.
This one goes with any pink and teal girl woodland nursery. It is from the girl fox bedding set from above.
Another great choice for a baby girl that includes a fox, bunny, racoon and deer with some pink decor.
If you went with an owl woodland theme for a girl, then check out this cute mobile. I love the bows on the owls.
If you are looking for a wooden mobile, then this one from Etsy would be very cute for a boy nursery. I love the animals mixed in with trees, moons and mountains.
Lastly, this mobile from Etsy is a perfect gender-neutral woodland mobile. I really love the green leaves on it.
Stuffed Animals for a Woodland Nursery
For many of these woodland nursery themes, you can add a cute stuffed animal such as an owl, fox, racoon, or bear.
This owl would go perfect with an owl themed woodland nursery or really any girl woodland nursery. I love the heart belly and bow.

Another option for a girl would be this cute pink fox with a flower bow.

Baskets come in handy in a nursery to store laundry, toys, or diaper supplies. When shopping why not grab these in your woodland theme also.

Here are my favorite board books about woodland animals and a few options for a woodland baby’s 1st year book.
This peek a boo forest is a perfect first book for baby since they can chew it. This book is a favorite in our house.
A great book to read to baby is Babies in the Forest. I love the artwork in this book.
A very sweet and beautiful book to read to baby is I’ve Loved You Since Forever. I would get this book no matter what nursery theme you go with.
Another favorite of mine is Little Owl’s night.
If you plan on doing a first year baby book, then this bear one is perfect for a woodland nursery.
This bear baby book is also very cute and could be great for a boy or a girl.
Woodland Newborn Outfits
While this isn’t exactly for a nursery, how could I not include newborn outfits. There are so many cute woodland newborn outfits like this deer one. It is so perfect for newborn pictures.

If you just wanted some onesies in a woodland theme, these have cute sayings such as “stay wise little owl, stay clever little fox, be brave little bear and cutest critter in the forest.”

Woodland is such a great nursery theme because there is so much decor to choose from. Additionally, you can buy a teepee as part of the decor so I really can’t think of a better theme.
It can be perfect for a baby girl or a baby boy. I especially love how you can pick woodland decor to make a cute gender-neutral nursery if that’s what you want or need since you are not finding out the gender.
Start by choosing a bedding set or a crib sheet along with a baby blanket and a changing pad cover. From there find some great woodland wall art such as printables, pictures, decals or even a growth chart. Complete the look by grabbing a woodland lamp, mobile, stuffed animals, and some baby board books. Lastly, splurge and grab a cute woodland newborn outfit for a cute coming home outfit or just to take baby pictures in.
